Founded by Yves Messier in 1963, Savon Evy expanded through mergers with Pursan and Vitex to be incorporated in 1981 under the name Savon Evy Inc. Following in his father’s entrepreneurial footsteps, Dominic Messier now manages the family business.


Over the past two years, Savons Evy Inc. has experienced exceptional growth, posting a 20% increase in sales. Dominic Messier attributes this result to the strategic reorientation of the firm’s activities toward its primary market and the resulting alignment of its product range.


Thanks to its niche products, the company focuses primarily on two distinct industries: automotive and tourism accommodation. The latter makes up a significant share of the company’s market, accounting for stable sales throughout the year and serving as a counterbalance to its seasonal products. The firm is also well known for its Tor-Do chamois wringer. The Tor-Do trademark was registered in September 2006. Savons Evy Inc. is the only company in Quebec to assemble and sell this product, which is used by hand car washes throughout the province.
